Short answer

Uzumaki: one book, and what it is not

VIZ publishes Junji Ito’s Uzumaki in English as one 3-in-1 Deluxe Edition hardcover: ISBN 978-1-4215-6132-5, 648 pages, released October 15, 2013 (VIZ). VIZ’s description says the horror manga “is now available all in a single volume.” The Uzumaki coloring book and the art book VIZ also lists are not the manga.

What each edition covers

Numbering: Uzumaki as a single complete story in VIZ's 3-in-1 Deluxe Edition. It describes mapped story units only; separately documented extras remain separate. VIZ's page gives the title as a 3-in-1 and describes it as the whole story in a single volume; it does not list the three parts separately, so this map has one unit for the complete story.

VIZ lists Uzumaki as one deluxe hardcover, so there is no second Uzumaki volume to look for in VIZ’s English line. Its 648 pages hold what VIZ’s description calls the “bizarre masterpiece horror manga.”

What “3-in-1” tells you

The title says three books in one, but VIZ’s page does not list the three parts or give a chapter table, so this map has a single unit, the complete story, and one edition. We do not assume where the parts break. If you own separate Uzumaki volumes from an earlier printing, this page cannot confirm which parts they hold.

Other Junji Ito deluxe books are separate stories

VIZ lists Gyo as a 2-in-1 Deluxe Edition (ISBN 978-1-4215-7915-3, 400 pages, released April 21, 2015) and Tomie as a Complete Deluxe Edition (ISBN 978-1-4215-9056-1, 752 pages, released December 20, 2016). Their contents are not mapped here. VIZ’s Junji Ito story collections, such as Shiver and Smashed, are also separate books whose story lists this site has not checked. Owning Uzumaki tells you nothing about overlap with them.

Not the manga

VIZ’s search results also show an Uzumaki coloring book and The Art of Junji Ito: Twisted Visions. These are not manga editions, and the guide to guidebooks and story volumes explains why companion books should not be ticked as story coverage.
