Dark Horse’s five Trigun Maximum Deluxe Edition hardcovers cover volumes 1–14 as 1–3, 4–6, 7–9, 10–12 and 13–14. Each book’s page states its volumes. The fifth is a two-volume book that finishes the series, so five Deluxes do not make fifteen volumes.
The earlier Trigun is separate
Dark Horse also lists a Trigun Deluxe Edition that collects Trigun volumes 1 and 2. Those are the earlier series, with their own numbering, and they are outside this map. A Trigun Maximum “volume 1” and a Trigun “volume 1” are different books, and owning one does not tick the other. Keep the series name attached whenever you write a shelf list.
Example shelves
If you own Deluxe 1–3, you hold Trigun Maximum volumes 1–9 and need Deluxe 4 and 5 to reach 14. If you own paperback volumes 1–11, Deluxe 4 repeats 10 and 11 and adds only 12; Deluxe 5 then adds 13 and 14. The calculator does these sums for any mix of singles and Deluxe books you select.

Dark Horse’s pages give publication dates from October 8, 2024 for Deluxe 1 to June 17, 2025 for Deluxe 5. The records do not list extras apart from the format description, so the extras column shows unknown rather than none. For the underlying overlap logic, read the box-set duplicate check.
