What each edition covers
Numbering: Hellsing chapter numbering as listed in the distributor's records. It describes mapped story units only; separately documented extras remain separate. The distributor also describes the Deluxe books by paperback volume (1–4, 5–8 and 8–10). Those labels overlap at volume 8, which is why this map counts chapters instead.

The three Hellsing Deluxe hardcovers divide the story by chapter: Deluxe 1 holds chapters 1–27, Deluxe 2 holds 28–62 and Deluxe 3 holds 63–88. Penguin Random House, Dark Horse’s distributor, gives those ranges beside the paperback volumes they come from, so this map counts chapters instead of volumes.
Why chapters instead of volumes
The distributor describes Deluxe 1 as material from paperback volumes 1–4, Deluxe 2 as volumes 5–8 and Deluxe 3 as volumes 8–10. Volume 8 therefore appears twice, because the chapter 62/63 boundary falls inside that paperback. A whole-volume tick cannot show that cleanly, but a chapter range can. The guide to why volume 8 appears twice explains the same boundary in prose.
Using the calculator on a mixed shelf
Mark owned units by chapter. If you own Deluxe 1 and 2, you hold chapters 1–62 and need Deluxe 3 for 63–88. If you own paperbacks 1–7, you hold the chapters up to the end of volume 7, but this site does not publish where each paperback starts and ends in chapter numbers, so use your own books’ contents pages to find the cut. We do not convert paperback volumes to chapters.
Extras and limits
Deluxe 3’s distributor record lists a color gallery, author notes, character profiles and bonus art. The chapter numbers are the distributor’s wording, not an independent table of contents, and they are not a claim about every numbering convention. This map covers only the three Dark Horse Deluxe books; the paperbacks are not mapped.
