Calculate overlap and new coverage

Select the numbered units and editions you already own, then choose candidate editions to compare. The result uses only this series' numbering system.

Kodansha’s two Fire Force box sets divide the first eleven volumes: Box Set 1 holds volumes 1–6 and Box Set 2 holds volumes 7–11 plus an exclusive double-sided poster. Penguin Random House, Kodansha Comics’ distributor, lists them as a two-book box set line, and the volume ranges appear in both the titles and the descriptions.

A bounded range

The two boxes end at volume 11. This page maps that range and nothing more, so the calculator cannot tell you whether anything exists after 11, and it will not assume it. If you own volumes 1–11 as singles, both boxes are pure duplicates of your shelf.

Which box next

Box Set 1 came out on August 27, 2024 and Box Set 2 on December 3, 2024. If you own Box Set 1, Box Set 2 adds 7–11 with no repeat. If you own singles 1–8, Box Set 1 repeats all six volumes it contains and Box Set 2 repeats 7 and 8 while adding 9–11. The distributor’s description of Box Set 1 does not mention any extra, so its extras show as unknown rather than none.

Compare the ISBN-13s in the table with a listing before you buy; the ISBN edition check explains why. For mixed shelves, the box-set duplicate check gives the arithmetic.
