Mapped coverage

1–74 · 74 numbered volumes across 3 documented editions. This is the range in this map, not a claim that the series is complete.

Calculate overlap and new coverage

Select the numbered units and editions you already own, then choose candidate editions to compare. The result uses only this series' numbering system.

Bleach’s three English manga box sets cover 1–21, 22–48 and 49–74. The groups contain 21, 27 and 26 numbered story volumes. Each set has its own ISBN and recorded extras.

A partial shelf needs a partial answer

If you own volumes 1–25, Box Set 2 overlaps 22–25 and adds 26–48. That means four duplicates and 23 new volumes, rather than 27 new volumes. Buying Box Set 3 first would add later material but leave those 23 earlier units missing.

For a shelf containing 1–48 plus 60–62, Box Set 3 adds 23 new numbered volumes and repeats three. This less tidy example is why the calculator accepts individual owned units as well as whole sets. A highest-owned-volume shortcut would incorrectly hide a gap at 49–59.

Extras are not numbered story units

VIZ describes different booklets or mini-comics across the three sets. They remain separate from the 1–74 calculation. A complete numbered range is not proof that you own every companion publication, bonus, printing or cover variation.
