Mapped coverage

1–31 · 31 mapped story units across 10 documented editions. This is the range in this map, not a claim that the series is complete.

Your shelf

Calculate overlap and new coverage

Select the numbered units and editions you already own, then choose candidate editions to compare. The result uses only this series' numbering system.

Dark Horse’s ten Blade of the Immortal Deluxe hardcovers cover volumes 1–31 between them, and each book’s page lists exactly which volumes it collects. The Deluxe number is not a volume number: Deluxe 4 holds volumes 10–12, and Deluxe 10 holds 29–31.

One book holds four

Nine of the ten books collect three volumes each. Deluxe 6 is the exception, collecting volumes 16–19, four in all. Anyone counting “ten Deluxes, three volumes apiece, so thirty volumes” would end up one short of the thirty-one in this map. Dark Horse’s pages describe the books as collecting the volumes in the original 7" × 10" serialized format, and they were released between October 2020 (Deluxe 1) and October 2023 (Deluxe 10).

Matching the Deluxes to a paperback shelf

The ranges are 1–3, 4–6, 7–9, 10–12, 13–15, 16–19, 20–22, 23–25, 26–28 and 29–31. If you own paperbacks 1–14, Deluxe 5 repeats 13 and 14 and adds 15, while Deluxe 6 onward add 16–31 with no repeat. If you own Deluxe 1–3, you hold volumes 1–9 and the next book to look for is Deluxe 4, not “Deluxe 10”. Select the editions or volumes you own in the calculator and it counts each volume once.

Limits

This map covers only the ten Deluxe hardcovers. Companion books and other formats are not included, and the Deluxe pages do not list extras beyond the format description, so the extras column reads unknown. For the logic of comparing a collected edition with singles, see the box-set duplicate check.
