Calculate overlap and new coverage

Select the numbered units and editions you already own, then choose candidate editions to compare. The result uses only this series' numbering system.

The Bakuman Complete Box Set contains volumes 1–20, an Otter No. 11 mini-comic, and a double-sided poster. The mini-comic is recorded as bonus content, not as a twenty-first Bakuman story volume.

Avoid adding an extra twice

If you own Bakuman volumes 1–12, the box adds 13–20 and repeats twelve. That produces eight new story units. The mini-comic and poster may be independently interesting, but they do not change that eight-volume answer.

If you already have all twenty singles, the calculator marks the target covered. It does not recommend buying another full set to complete a numbered range that is already present. Collecting the particular package or its extras should be an intentional choice.

Match the package, not a familiar character

Use the official set ISBN to distinguish the publisher box from a seller’s twenty-book bundle. The number of books in a listing and the presence of a poster do not independently prove it is the same package. Verify which extras a seller actually includes, especially for used copies.

The source links identify Tsugumi Ohba’s story and Takeshi Obata’s art. We do not reproduce the mini-comic or claim to have physically inspected it. Read how extras stay outside story arithmetic for the same distinction across several series.
