Privacy and Local Shelf Storage
What Manga Editions stores in your browser, what Google Analytics measures, and how to turn analytics off or on.

Your shelf stays in your browser
The comparison tool works without an account. Selecting volumes does not send your shelf to us. If you choose Save shelf, the site stores that series’ volume and edition identifiers in your browser’s local storage. Reset removes that series’ saved selection. Clearing browser site data also removes saved shelves.
Exports contain your selected identifiers and a canonical site link, without affiliate links. A share link contains its selection in the URL fragment after #. The fragment is not sent in the HTTP page request, but anyone you give the full link to can read its contents. Only share selections you intend to disclose.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, run by Google for us, to count visits and see which pages, tools and Amazon links are useful. It records the page you view (its address without any # fragment), time on page, scrolling, clicks on links including outbound clicks to Amazon, your browser and device type, the page that sent you here, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Starting and finishing a comparison are recorded as events with no shelf contents. The measurements go to the Sentinel network analytics property.
The site does not send selected shelf volumes, local shelf contents, share-link fragments or search terms as analytics parameters. Google signals and advertising personalization are turned off, and ad storage is denied for every visitor. See Google’s explanation of partner-site data.

- UK visitors: analytics cookies are used only to measure and improve this site. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) allows this without asking first, as long as you are told and can object. You can turn analytics off at any time below.
- EU, EEA and Swiss visitors: analytics cookies stay off unless you allow them below. While they’re off, Google Analytics can still receive a page-view signal without cookies or any identifier stored on your device.
- Everyone else: analytics is on unless you turn it off below.
Your analytics choice
Analytics choices need JavaScript. With JavaScript off, Google Analytics doesn't run either.
Turning analytics off stops this site’s measurement and clears its accessible Google Analytics cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Hosting and external links
Cloudflare serves the site and processes normal request information for delivery and security. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Publisher, GitHub and Amazon links open other services with their own privacy practices. Clicking an Amazon affiliate link includes this site’s tracking ID so qualifying purchases may be attributed to us; your local shelf is not attached.

Keeping this site’s Google Analytics off does not control Amazon’s practices on Amazon’s own site.
Your choices
You can turn analytics off above and still read every article and use the comparison tools. Turning analytics off stops future measurement; it does not itself erase information already collected, which Google Analytics keeps for no longer than 14 months. Saved shelf data and your analytics choice remain in this browser until you remove them or your browser clears them.
This site does not operate a newsletter or a user-registration system.
