Edition comparison
Tokyo Revengers Omnibus vs Brilliant Full Color Edition
Seven Seas sells Tokyo Revengers as black-and-white 2-in-1 omnibuses and a Brilliant Full Color Edition with the same volume labels. See what overlaps and how far the color line goes.
In this guide
The Brilliant Full Color Edition omnibuses carry the same volume labels as the regular black-and-white omnibuses: Vol. 1–2 and Vol. 3–4 exist in both. Seven Seas’ omnibus series page lists the full color line only through Vol. 3–4 (checked October 29, 2026), while the regular omnibuses run on to Vol. 29–31. Buying a color omnibus after you own the matching regular one adds no new story volumes.

The four overlapping books
| Story volumes | Regular omnibus (ISBN-13, published, pages) | Brilliant Full Color Edition omnibus (ISBN-13, published, pages) |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Omnibus Vol. 1–2 (9781638585718, July 26, 2022, 392 pages) Check Omnibus Vol. 1–2 on Amazon | Full Color Vol. 1–2 (9798893731811, July 1, 2025, 400 pages) Check Full Color Vol. 1–2 on Amazon |
| 3–4 | Omnibus Vol. 3–4 (9781638585725, August 30, 2022, 396 pages) Check Omnibus Vol. 3–4 on Amazon | Full Color Vol. 3–4 (9798893735413, October 28, 2025, 400 pages) Check Full Color Vol. 3–4 on Amazon |
| 5–31 | Omnibus Vol. 5–6 through Vol. 29–31 (thirteen more books) | No color omnibus listed by Seven Seas |
Dates, page counts and ISBN-13s come from the Seven Seas pages for Omnibus Vol. 1–2, Omnibus Vol. 3–4, Full Color Vol. 1–2 and Full Color Vol. 3–4, checked October 29, 2026. All four list a 5.875 x 8.25 inch trim. Seven Seas describes the color books as the series “now available in full, brilliant color” and the regular omnibuses as “2-in-1 omnibus paperbacks, formatted for a beautiful oversized trim with all-new lettering.” Our Tokyo Revengers edition map already includes Full Color Vol. 1–2; Vol. 3–4 is covered here from the Seven Seas page and is not yet in that map.
What each shelf needs
The regular line has 15 books for 31 volumes: fourteen 2-in-1 omnibuses and a final 3-in-1 (Vol. 29–31). The color line has 2 books for 4 volumes so far.
| Your shelf | Adds with Full Color Vol. 1–2 and 3–4 | Continuing the story |
|---|---|---|
| Regular Omnibus Vol. 1–2 | Nothing new for 1–2; Vol. 3–4 adds 3–4 | Regular Vol. 5–6 next, or Full Color Vol. 3–4 first |
| Regular Omnibuses Vol. 1–4 | Nothing new: both color books repeat 1–4 | Regular Vol. 5–6 next; no color equivalent is listed |
| Full Color Vol. 1–4 | Already owned | Regular Vol. 5–6 continues without a numbering gap |
| Full Color Vol. 1–2 only | Vol. 3–4 adds 3–4 | Either edition of Vol. 3–4, then regular Vol. 5–6 |
| Nothing yet, want the whole story | Color covers 4 of 31 volumes | Only the regular line reaches 31, so a full set means mixing editions after Vol. 4 |
The mix works because both lines label each book by the original volumes it holds. You do not need a conversion table, and a Full Color Vol. 3–4 followed by a regular Vol. 5–6 leaves no volume missing. What changes is the look of the books on the shelf, not the story coverage. We have not compared the two editions’ print quality or translation and make no claim about either.
A third Vol. 1–2 book to watch for
Seven Seas also lists a Barnes & Noble exclusive edition of the Vol. 1–2 omnibus with a variant cover and a double-sided foldout poster, ISBN-13 9781685793395. It holds the same volumes as the regular Vol. 1–2 omnibus, so it does not add coverage if you own either. Match the ISBN-13 before assuming a listing with a different cover is the color edition.
Checklist for a listing
- Look for “Brilliant Full Color Edition” in the title. A color cover alone does not identify the edition.
- Match the ISBN-13 in the table: 97988937… for the color books, 97816385… for the regular Vol. 1–4.
- Count the volumes the title names. Vol. 1–2 and Vol. 3–4 each hold two; the last regular book, Vol. 29–31, holds three.
- If a seller offers a “complete set,” check it against the 15 regular books; the color line does not reach the end of the series.
