Naruto and Bleach Box Sets: Different Boundaries

The ranges come from VIZ’s Naruto box-set listings and Bleach box-set listings; each individual source is linked in the Naruto map and Bleach map. Counts are calculated inclusively: last volume minus first volume plus one.
Same shelf number, different overlap
For a reader who owns the first 25 singles of either series, the second box behaves differently. Naruto Box Set 2 adds 28–48, with no duplicates, but leaves 26–27 missing. Bleach Box Set 2 repeats 22–25 and adds 26–48. With a target of volume 48, that Bleach selection closes the gap; the Naruto selection does not.
This is why “no duplicates” is not a sufficient buying rule. A set can avoid every book you own and still jump over books you need. Our tools show the gap relative to an explicitly selected target rather than presenting a larger box number as the obvious next purchase.
Keep the comparison within its purpose
The two series do not share interchangeable story units. This table compares packaging boundaries, not stories, page counts or value for money. Bonuses are recorded separately and do not change the volume totals. Different retailers may abbreviate a box title, so check its ISBN and named range before relying on the box number alone. Start a separate shelf in each series map; owning Naruto volume 25 says nothing about ownership of Bleach volume 25.
