Final-volume checklist

Attack on Titan: Omnibus 11–12 vs Colossal 7

Finish Attack on Titan volumes 31–34 without assuming every omnibus is three-in-one. Compare the final two omnibuses with Colossal Edition 7.

Attack on Titan Omnibus 11 contains original volumes 31–32, and Omnibus 12 contains 33–34. Colossal Edition 7 collects all four, 31–34. The last two omnibuses each contain two original volumes, even though the range is promoted as 3-in-1.

This is a spoiler-free buying guide to that final four-volume span, not a full-series omnibus map. Kodansha states these memberships on the individual pages for Omnibus 11, Omnibus 12 and Colossal Edition 7.

These are set comparisons calculated from the cited contents, assuming continuous ownership exactly as listed. A shelf missing volume 17 is not complete just because its last book is 34. If you have gaps, use an exact list before applying the table.

The trap in “11 × 3”

A tempting shortcut is to calculate Omnibus 11 as original volumes 31–33 and expect Omnibus 12 to supply only 34. That is not what the publisher records say. If you stopped after Omnibus 11, the documented range here leaves both 33 and 34 to obtain.

Similarly, Colossal 7 is not original volume 7. Its book number belongs to a different format sequence. Keep format and number together in a shopping list: “Attack on Titan Omnibus 12,” rather than simply “Attack on Titan 12.” The latter can identify a much earlier single-volume installment.

Compare the remaining order, not the whole format range

If you already own 1–32, compare the delivered cost of singles 33 and 34 with Omnibus 12. Colossal 7 is a larger-coverage alternative, but two of its four original volumes would be duplicates. If you own 1–30, compare both omnibuses as one order against Colossal 7 as one order. Include shipping in each total.

Book dimensions, readability and shelf preference can influence the decision, but this guide makes no hands-on quality judgment. Kodansha’s Colossal 7 page contains conflicting page-count wording, so page count is not used to calculate equivalence or price per page here.

There is no Attack on Titan calculator on this site yet. The static table is the complete scope of this guide. For other series with unexpected last-book contents, see Berserk Deluxe 14’s separate guidebook and how to compare a box against an existing collection.
